This getting started guide will show you step by step how to efficiently use zoe to interact with your kafka clusters.

In summary, this guide includes the following steps :

  • Prepare the environment: We will start by setting up the stage by spinning up a single node kafka cluster locally initialized with some topics. We will then configure zoe to make it know about this cluster to start interacting with it.
  • Producing data into topics: We will use zoe to write some json data into Kafka. The dataset used is a funny one from the Cat Facts API.
